SPIRITUAL TESTING
Many Earth years ago, a few brave souls set out to enlighten the world. They worked through spiritual churches and they were the founders of spirituality today. These brave few, often against incredible legal problems tried to educate humanity on matters spiritual. There names are legendary in spiritual work today. Maurice Barbanell, Hannan Swaffer, Estelle Roberts, Ursula Roberts, Grace Cooke, Edgar Casey, and Helen Duncan, who died for the cause of us in the spiritual realms when in deep trance, she was shaken roughly by a policeman. Ena Twigg. Then came Jane Roberts, Doris Stokes.
There are many more, too many names to mention. Each one of them though, a beacon of light for we in the spiritual realms. Often under very difficult circumstances, they stood alone and taught the words we channeled. Each one of them went through hardship, difficulty, much trial and disciplinary training to enable them to become the messengers of us on the higher planes. Their books, writings and teachings are still available on Earth today, and speak of the message that we gave at that time. They also speak of their struggle.
There are many brave souls out there again on the Earth plane at this time of change. Each one of them teaching to those whose vibrations match. We chose this way because we knew that no two souls were the same and there was much diversity. The light in the world may seem as if it is getting darker, but it is not. Compared to fifty Earth years ago, it is brighter than ever. Are you one of those lights? Would you like to become one? If your answer to this is yes, then know that despite the fact that you may feel alone at this time and in the future of Earth time, we are with you every minute of each day. We cannot help you, only support you on your path. The spiritual path is not easy, it is filled with illusion, fear and doubt.
The rewards for those who make it through the testing, is beyond comprehension, but first you have to earn that reward. And you do so by placing yourself in testing situations, which will clear much karma from your life, and enable you to leave the Earth plane never to return and incarnate again. Many of you have written to me and made comment on your own personal struggles. You think you are alone, you are not! Nearly every soul on the Earth plane is on their own personal struggle. You are not alone either.
We are with you every step of the way, you walk in our footsteps, for we too were once tried and tested, disciplined and felt alone just like you are today. Just know this. Many look to the Masters as perfected beings, and yet one is never perfected until one merges with the Ultimate Being or what you know as God. We have walked where you have walked, struggled like you, and passed the test with difficulty just like you. Yes, we have ascended, but not without the testing. You too will ascend when your testing is complete.
I do not need to be there in person, my energy through my writings and through my teaching is enough. For those who are in the presence of this energy, they have one of two reactions. They either cannot stand that energy and want to run away, or they feel the warmth of that energy, see the lessons, and say "Let me learn". For those who run, they are not ready, for those who stay - the learning begins. The testing takes place, and it is all chosen by you for only YOU know of your imperfections and what needs to be cleared away by you.
Call our name and we will enveloped you in our love, you may not feel it, but it WILL help you on your path of testing. Know that it hurts us to see you suffering and know we cannot assist you. For if we do, we stop you from growing. Yet we are with you to give you the energy needed to pass those tests, if only you will ask for it.
There comes a time when there is no more testing, where there is peace. You can all attain that state. It is what is known as Heaven, and the path of life with its testing, and difficulty is known as Hell. By your choices you make life Heaven or Hell. This is a longer message than normal, but one that I need to write. Remember that you are all very special to we in the spiritual planes. Despite where you are on your spiritual path, we love you. We have never stopped loving you. Just know that! Maitreya.

MIRRORS
You are all mirrors for each other, what you see in another that you do not like, or which annoys you, is what you need to look at within yourself. It is an aspect of yourself which is being brought to your attention, it is saying "Look, this is what you need to see!" yet often you are so frightened you either banish the person from your presence, or you run away from it.
Many of you who are healers, teachers, readers, therapists often channel so much spiritual energy that this increases the size of the mirror, you wonder why you do not like the person, when in fact it is yourself that you do not like. Their large stomach on a subconscious level reminds you of your own. Their loud laugh is yours, their embarrassing ways, mirror yours. You are looking at yourself and do not realize it.
Often you will laugh at another, or make a joke of something about them. You do not realize that you are doing this to yourself. Think about those you do not like. What is it about them you do not like? It is this that you need to look at within yourself. Until you can understand you are a mirror, and that in another you see a mirror of yourself, you will continue to stumble through life, with no direction, not aware of what it is that you have to look at. Yet it is right in front of you but you cannot see - you do not see because you don't want to.
Yet the person who is the mirror is saying "Look at me, I am trying to tell you something, can't you see!" but you are in fear, or denial, and cannot do this. YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON IN YOUR REALITY!
Do you know that you are the only person in your reality? I can see a lot of you wondering what I mean by this statement. In making this statement I am teaching of letting go of everyone and everything else in your reality and living your own life. For many this will be very hard for they have come to rely so much on others. There is a closeness by many to those close to them; and yet, these people are only there for your learning.
Every soul who comes into your life is a mirror and a teacher. Their purpose is to help you to see the parts of you that need working on. The parts of you that you want to run away from. Many of these people you run away from, yet nobody is an enemy! All who come into your life are there to teach you something or mirror something that you do not want to deal with. Usually these issues have been many incarnations in being.
To you they seem so real, friends, family, enemies, you put names to them, however, they are just teachers and mirrors nothing more and they are the actors in your play that you have created before you came to the Earth plane.
What a shock for many of you to realize this! It is the truth. Only when you realize this and accept it, can you move forward. For when you accept and realize it, you then stop blaming others for your problems and predicaments and accept responsibility for your own life whether good or bad. Nobody is meant to have a bad life, nobody is meant to be unhappy, you make yourself unhappy. You do this by being afraid to live your dreams, by procrastinating about decisions when you should just "Do it'. Spiritual evolvement is about letting go of the fear and doing it. It is about loving yourself despite the fact that you may think others do not.
Remember those whom you think do this are there to mirror for you your lack of confidence and belief in yourself. Once the lesson is learned, the person is no longer in your life, they move away, or you move away. You do not need them anymore, they move out of your play, or you move away from them. All that is negative can be turned into a positive. All you have to do is to decide to change things and be determined and not give in to the Self, whose sole purpose is to try and stop you moving forward.
Spirituality is not about being religious, holy or pious, it is about being true to yourself, only when you do this can you then live life the way it is meant to be. When you see those around you as mirrors and actors on your stage, then the lessons do not seem too hard. They become experiences to learn from, you can actually laugh at them. When you do this, you truly become spiritual. Look upon everyone in your life as a gift, for they truly are, and when they do something that upsets you, ask yourself why you are getting upset. ENEMIES
Often your enemies on the Earth plane can be your friends from the realms of spirit who have come to help you to learn lessons. Instead of hating these people, love them, because they give you the greatest opportunity to grow and be free of your karma. So many souls have hate in their hearts because people have hurt them or upset them. Often that hate will never be dealt with and will be taken incarnation after incarnation until in one incarnation it will manifest as illness.
Every soul, who comes into your life, comes to teach you something. The person may be your mother or father, family member, or someone close, but no matter what they did, they did it to help you. Instead of feeling hate, turn that hate into love, thank the person for being there to help you. CRITICISM
How many times a day do you criticize something or someone? Why do you do this? You do this because the issue or person you criticize acts as a mirror for you, and the Self, seeing itself, does not want to see it. In retaliation, it ridicules, makes fun of, criticizes, then it runs away. My channels husband Peter Luke has a saying, which I find quite interesting, in which he states that "all reaction is due to conditioning". This statement was given to him by another member of the Brotherhood.
You are conditioned to react to all that is not to your liking. It starts early; when children are at school, and there is a situation to do with bullying. That too is a form of criticizing. One child, usually a sensitive child who is connected to the spiritual even though they do not realize this is so, becomes a mirror for one other. This other one does not like what is presented to him through the mirror.
For instance the child being bullied may be overweight, and the child seeing this looks into a mirror of their own weight problem, or subconscious fear of gaining weight. The one looking into the mirror then gets other children to join in, or they do it alone. Then the bullying starts and they do not know why they do this. It could also be because of a past life remembrance. Remember that everyone who comes into your life is a mirror! Every soul has something to show or teach you.
If you react it is because you are not yet spiritually attuned. With the one who is spiritually attuned and in vibration with their Higher Self, it is a waste of energy to react. They look in the mirror and they see the image, but they do not react. They do not give it energy. They either walk away from what they see with a desire to change it, or do not see it for their lives are involved in other things. The Self loves to react! Oh yes it does, it is the actor within each and every one of you.

HOW TO BE TRULY SPIRITUAL
One cannot be truly spiritual if one has one grain of anger, fear, doubt, envy, and other emotions. Yes, one can say "I am spiritual" BUT, if you have any negative thinking to another soul, or situation, then you cannot be truly spiritual in the true sense of the word. How many of you react to situations that you know you should not react to? How can the world be healed, if individual souls cannot heal themselves? It is within the personal that one needs to start with changing the negative within one. How many of you have problems with your brother, sister, mother, father, friend, work associate? Yes, I am speaking to you who answered that statement.
How can the world be changed, until peace is found within? How often do you find yourself justifying yourself? How often do you find yourself becoming angry with someone? What a waste of energy! Just think what you could do with that wasted energy! You could manifest something you desire, educate yourself, there are so many ways to use the energy in a positive way. The more you do this, the more you will be able to create and manifest. It just takes you to stop the flow of negative energy.
I can hear you saying now "But the person will not speak to me" and I will reply "Do you need them in your life - truly need them in your life?" You are here for your own life, not for anyone else's! If you can stand in front of God as you know this energy, and KNOW that you are without blemish, that is all that matters. Your justifying yourself to someone does not change things because there will always be two points of view, as I wrote in another message, "each man has his own truth".
Why is it important that YOU are right, do you think you will lose face by not justifying yourself? I will tell you, you will not, you will move forward in consciousness because you will no longer be trapped in the old energy of justification. You will no longer be living in a stagnant energy. As you let go, as you move forward, you will then begin to see a new side of life, one you could not see before because you were caught in conflict.
Let go of the need to be right, to be the victor, do not give anything any energy. What does it matter except to the Self who HAS to do this, because this is what it thinks it must do because of habit over years of life. Just walk away. Let it become the other person's problem not yours. Give it no energy at all. You will soon see a difference in your life. Yes, there will be the sadness of letting go, perhaps the situation has been happening over many incarnations, however, one soon heals, just remember that. TESTING WITH NEGATIVE PEOPLE
I was recently asked by a student, "Do I have to be in a situation with negative people?" This was an interesting question because in some cases, it may be necessary for you to be in this situation to learn from these people. My channel was in such a situation last year, where she was confronted with someone who was not as much negative, but mirrored for her, the dramatic energy that was a part of her. I think the term used on the Earth plane is "Drama Queen". Margaret became aware for the first time, that this woman was exactly the same as her, and at that moment in Earth time, made a decision that she did not want to be like that anymore. This realization elevated her then to a higher vibration, as she left behind the emotional tie that had created the dramatics for so long.
One knows if one has to learn something from people who are negative, or who mirror something for them, because if one walks away from one situation, the Universe creates another situation exactly the same. I have often said, it is not the people who are important on your path in life, but it is the lessons that they bring.
